Questions about the evaluation indicators, procedures, and other considerations for ESG management evaluation.
The evaluation items are ESG management indicators developed from years of global consulting expertise. They include global standards like GRI, ESRS, and EcoVadis, as well as Korean standards such as K-ESG and KCGS. These items have been refined for clarity and intuitiveness, optimizing them for the ESG evaluation of Korean companies.
The evaluation items reflect over 80% of major Korean and global indicators and guidelines, like GRI, EcoVadis, and K-ESG. Managing according to these evaluation metrics will help in other evaluations. Uploading supporting documents for each item during evaluation makes addressing the same items in other evaluations easier and more efficient.
If you consistently achieve performance in ESG management across various fields, you will not only respond quickly and easily to global evaluations but also achieve high scores. The key is to clearly identify the management points, understanding “what needs to be managed.” The ESG indicators provided by this solution offer a framework for effective management. By steadily building up your performance according to these points, you can achieve positive results in any evaluation.
You can proceed with the evaluation in any order you prefer, without the specified sequence. Once you complete an item, a green check mark will appear next to it in the list on the left for your reference.
Multiple managers can access the same evaluation simultaneously. Since it is difficult for one person to answer everything, you can designate department managers who are best suited to complete different sections of the evaluation, enabling collaborative efforts.
For significant company documents that cannot be altered, use PDF files, and for stored data, use Excel format. The solution accepts all file types, but we recommend uploading files in PDF and Excel formats whenever possible.
Questions about evaluating the ESG management status of suppliers within the company's value chain.
At KEY2ESG, you can evaluate the sustainability management levels of your company's suppliers in terms of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). The evaluation is based on dedicated supply chain assessment indicators, identifying issues and improvement measures for each supplier, with the aim of enhancing the sustainability of both the company and its supply chain.
The system functionally supports the evaluation of all suppliers. However, from your position, evaluating every supplier may be practically challenging in terms of time and procedure, and it might not be necessary. In such cases, selective management of key suppliers based on priority is possible. Using the supplier group creation feature, you can categorize suppliers into evaluation groups, such as primary and secondary, and gradually expand the evaluations.
In the system, register supplier information and send batch invitation emails to multiple suppliers. The invitation is completed once the supplier's representative checks the email and signs up for the solution.
The system provides default evaluation indicators, but we recommend developing custom supply chain ESG evaluation indicators tailored to your business and supply market characteristics. These custom indicators will be integrated into the system for your use.
Yes, it is possible. For example, there might be a group of suppliers focused on the service industry and another group focused on manufacturing. In this case, since they are different supply markets, it is advisable to design different ESG evaluation indicators. This system allows you to apply different evaluation indicators to each evaluation group.
